How to add custom design templates to blogger blog

The main advantage of blogger as compared to wordpress blog is that blogger allows us to fully customize our blog.We are free to use innovative techniques if you are good at webdesigning also we can add other templates pretty easily.
Here are the steps to add your template to your blogger blog.

Step1: Design a template using html/css or get a template code.

Step2: Now add the following code before </head> tag of your blog.

<b:skin><![CDATA[/* the required skin */]]></b:skin>
<style>#navbar-iframe { height:0px; visibility:hidden; display:none }</style>

Step3: Now add the following code wherever you want to add a widget(including blog posts):

(This would display add gadget under page elements wherever you have put the above code.)

Step4: Now in blogger navigate to design --> edit html delete all the codes there and paste your code.

Step5: Now click on save template while doing so you will be asked whether to keep widgets or delete widgets.Click on Keep widgets(important).

Step6: Now navigate to page elements and arrange your wigets.
